Where to begin?

Each commission is different, and depending on the size and scope you may feel overwhelmed - that’s where we come in. We offer design and fabrication services. Whether you have a fully-formed vision of what you are looking for, or you’re looking for a solution to a problem, we can help you realize your goal. What do you need from me?

We work with as little or as much information as you can muster. Here’s a great place to start:

  • Size: Often this is either based off physical dimensions or use (for example, a dining table to seat 8 people, or measuring 36 x 72”)

  • Wood: This can be as general as a tone (light vs dark) or as precise as the wood species and lumber cut (quarter sawn white oak)

  • Visual Cues: Be sure to include any photos or sketches that inspired the project. This could be images from a website, a magazine, or even your own home. Anything to offer a glimpse of your own personal aesthetic and taste.

What is your design process like?

  1. Typically we respond within two business days with any further preliminary questions we have, at which point we will set up a call or meeting.

  2. Once we feel we have enough information for a proposal we will supply initial drawings free of charge. Client feedback is most welcome, and one revision to the design can be made at no extra cost.

  3. Once a design and materials are finalized we require a 50% deposit, with the remainder paid at time of delivery.

How long does it take?

For custom work our usual lead time varies between 8-10 weeks from receipt of deposit. However, each piece is unique, and depending on the time and materials required project lead times may be shorter or longer.

We strive to accommodate rushes when possible, but priority is given to current projects and due dates. If we can accommodate a rush order, additional fees may apply.

Do you deliver?

We do! We offer white glove delivery and installation services within the GTA, as well as full crating and shipping for orders destined for outside the city. Pricing will vary depending on the size and destination.
